CAP Foundation in partnership with Microsoft Global Services - India, hosted employability training programs in Retail, Hospitality and ITES domains for 562 young people from Hafeezpet, Ranga Reddy district. 

Hyderabad: CAP Foundation in partnership with Microsoft Global Services - India, hosted employability training programs in Retail, Hospitality and ITES domains for 562 young people from Hafeezpet, Ranga Reddy district.

The valedictory function for the same was held on Monday at Friends function hall, Hafeezpet, Hyderabad. On a pilot basis 30 transgender persons were also trained as part of this programme. The duration of the programmes varied from 45 days to 1 year.pleting the training and wished them a bright future.

Uche Adegbite, Mridul Dhanot from Microsoft Global Services -India and Nalini Gangadharan from CAP Foundation were present at the ocassion. Speaking on the occasion Nalini thanked Microsoft for providing support to train the transgender persons in the new economic driven employability skills.

While, Mridul appreciated the work and expressed that initiatives like this will help main streaming the transgender, she asked the students, parents and employers of the trainees to be more sensitive and inclusive towards the transgenders. Ms Adegbite in her address congratulated the students for successfully completing the training and wished them a bright future.
