Officials told to work in tandem to tide over Kothagudem water crisis

​Kothagudem: District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu received as many as 50 representations on the occasion of Grievance Day at Collectorate here on Monday.

There were applications regarding employment, two bedroom houses, bore wells for drinking water and house sites among the representations. He assured comprehensive look in to the representations and directed a few who came with personal representations to opt for courts.

Later, he directed the officials to work with coordination and tide over drinking water crises. He asked them to complete the construction of Anganwadi buildings in time.

Joint Collector RamKishan, DRO Kiran Kumar, District Rural Development Officer Jagath Kumar Reddy, RDO Ravindranath and other officials participated. Meanwhile, the Collector directed the officials concerned to complete the arrangements for International Women’s Day celebrations at a review meeting held at collectorate.

He asked them to make arrangements for felicitating women who achieved big in their lives. District Welfare Officer Jhansi Lakshmibai, District Panchayat Officer Asha Latha, Municipal Commissioner Safi Ullah and others attended the review meet.
