Nizamabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Revanth Reddy lashed out Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for cheating all the sections of the society like students, farmers, Dalits and unemployed youth during electioneering in 2014 and totally forgetting about them after coming to power.

Participing the huge praja poru public meeting in Nizamabad town on Monday, he said that KCR went back on his promise of providing three acres of land to the Dalits and houses to the poor and the downtrodden.

He said that KCR did nothing for the farmers to mitigate their suffering though 3,000 farmers committed after TRS came to power. The farmers growing red gram and maize were facing immense hardships but the government remained indifferent to them.

He said that while the grandson of the Chief Minster could play in the Secretariat, the children of the poor Dalits were told to rear sheep and pigs. He wondered whether KCR was suffering from brain fever.

Revanth Reddy said that it was unfortunate that KCR discarded Prof Kodandaram after coming to power though he exploited his services during the Telangana statehood agitation.

He demanded the state government to sanction a Sub-plan for the Backward Classes during the ensuing Assembly session.

He said that they would conduct a signature campaign in Etala Rajender’s constituency on Wednesday to resolve the problems of the people.

Telangana TDP president L Ramana and leaders like Mandava Venkateshwara Rao, Peddireddy, Anapurnamma and others were present.
