​Hanamkonda: School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE), Kakatiya University, has released admission notification for various degree and post graduate courses for the academic year 2016-17, on Tuesday.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sayanna, along with registrar Prof M V Ranga Rao and SDLCE Director Prof Ch Dinesh Kumar, released the notification at a programme held in the committee hall of the university.

Prof Dinesh Kumar said the eligibility test (for candidates without educational qualifications) for direct admission into BA/B Com (General/Computers) would be held on April 2, 2017 from 11 am to 1pm. The last date for submission of application form is March 28. The eligibility test application form could be downloaded from the website www.sdlceku.co.in by paying registration fee of Rs 200.

Students can obtain admission in a study centre of their choice irrespective of the examination centre at which they appeared for the test. Those who are qualified in the eligibility tests conducted between 2013 and 2016 and those who passed Intermediate or equivalent examination can get direct admission into degree courses.

Further, students who are willing to pursue UG, PG, PG Diploma and certificate courses in distance mode can submit their forms by April 17. They can either obtain the application form and prospectus from the above mentioned website or from SDLCE head office at KU.

Currently, the SDLCE is offering admissions into 25 courses and the complete details such as list of study centres, fee particulars and others are available on the website, said Prof Dinesh Kumar.

KU controller of examinations Prof K Purushotham, OU Distance Education Centre director Prof Shivaraj, T Ravinder Reddy, B Suresh Lal and others were present.
