NSUI to undertake yatra
State National Students Union of India (NSUI) president Venkat said that that NSUI would undertake a ‘chaitanya yatra’ to highlight the problems of the students in the Telangana State.
Nizamabad: State National Students Union of India (NSUI) president Venkat said that that NSUI would undertake a ‘chaitanya yatra’ to highlight the problems of the students in the Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, he said that the NSUI members would visit the hostels of various Universities including those of the Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes in the State and interact with the inmates to get first-hand knowledge of their problems.
Venkat lashed out at the TRS government for neglecting the problems of the student community even after completing two-and-a-half years of coming to power though Telangana attained Statehood only due to the sacrifices made by the students, some of them who also gave up their lives.
The NSUI leader said that the yatra would continue till the problems of the students were solved.
