Hyderabad: Excellent communication skills coupled with personality development traits would help the students to mould their character and personality to become more employable, said Prof K Ramamohana Rao, former Registrar and Head of the Department of Commerce and Management Studies.

Inaugurating the week-long workshop on "Communication and Soft Skills" at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Andhra University, today Prof.Rammohana Rao said that the soft skills became very significant world over and become more relevant to higher education.

Prof Rammohana Rao said that the final year students of Master of Business Administration would be given training in soft skills during the weeklong workshop. Prof Rao appreciated the efforts of the soft skills trainer Challa Krishnaveer Abhishek, for designing modules for the weeklong workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, Challa Krishnaveer Abhishek, explained the objectives of the workshop and the topics such as leadership skills, group discussion and interview skills to the students.
