Khammam: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s survey into the performance of his party Ministers and MLAs is bogus and aimed at boosting the fast-dwindling image of the TRS government, Telugu Desam Sathupalli MLA and TTD Board member Sandra Venkata Veeraiah said.

Addressing a press conference at the district party office here on Friday, he ridiculed the TRS government’s survey into the workmanship of the legislators, stating that it was a vain effort to fool the people.

“The ruling party which failed to fulfil 85 per cent of its election promises has no moral right to say that people are happy with their governance,” Sandra said, referring to the government’s failure to release funds for five lakh Indiramma houses that have been pending for more than two years.

The TRS which assured to upgrade all the Thandas with a population of over 500 into gram panchayats didn’t make move till now, he said, pointing out government’s failure to provide reservations to Muslim minorities, 3 acres land to Dalits and KG to PG free education. Accusing the Chief Minister of running a family rule in the State, Sandra said people were aware of TRS chief’s designs and would teach him a fitting lesson in the next elections.

He demanded the TRS party to go to the next elections only if it fulfils all its 2014 election promises. TDP district president Tulluri Brahmaiah, senior leaders MB Swarna Kumari, Kurapati Venkateswarlu and Harish were among others present.
