Crime stories grip the readers because they involve brutal attacks, brutal murders, brutal killings, brutal rapes, and brutal abuses. Brutal is an adjective: someone behaving violently and cruelly.

Brutal also meansa message that is direct and clear about something unpleasant, a person’s actions that are done without thinking of other person or persons’ feelings.

Few people divorce from their married lives because they are brutally honesty that they are not happy in living together anymore.
