Give Aadhaar card details to banks, customers told

​Nizamabad: District Collector Dr Yogitha Rana directed the bankers to help the savings bank account holders in linking up their Aadhaar card numbers with mobile banking transactions as they could derive lot of benefits from the government.

Participating in a meeting with the bankers at the Collectorate in the city on Thursday, she said that the bankers should elicit information from their customers of various villages about their aadhar card number details and submit them by Saturday. All the customers have to link their aadhaar card numbers with their mobile numbers, she added.

The District Collector urged those customers of banks who have not yet provided Aadhaar details to go to their respective branches and ensure their linkage.
