​Hyderabad: The TRS government would strive to make Yadadri (hill shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadagirigutta) as a prominent religious and spiritual centre of Telangana, said IT Minister K T Rama Rao on Thursday.

Stating this in the Assembly, KTR said that the works relating to the temple were progressing in a brisk manner. The government has allotted 250 acres for the development of the Temple City of Yadadri.

He also stated that all measures would be taken to ensure that devotees coming to the temple would not face any inconvenience or difficulty as required number of cottages would be constructed with adequate parking space.

Apart from AC and non-AC rest rooms, a huge dining hall to cater a time free food for 5,000 devotees and other facilities are being constructed, he added.

The Minister said that if information regarding donors intending to construct cottages is brought to the notice of the government, steps would be taken to accommodate them suitably.

Yadadri would be built as one of the important religious and tourist interest centres of Telangana, he observed.
