Youth Congress alleges KCR of dividing people on caste basis

Khammam: Youth Congress Committee state general secretary Vanam Chandrashekar alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was trying to rule the State by dividing people in the name of caste. The Parliamentary Youth Congress Committee meeting was held here at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here on Thursday.
Speaking at the meeting, V Chandrashekar said that instead of providing job opportunities to the unemployed youth in the State, the CM has been encouraging the youth of various castes to carry on odd jobs such as a shepherd’s son should be a shepherd only and the person who is making pots must continue to do so.
He also alleged that KCR did not fulfill any one of his poll promises such as distribution of three acres of land to dalits, KG to PG free education and implementation of 12 per cent reservations to Muslim Minorities and STs.
“Constructing of double bedroom houses in KCR’s own village does not mean that the project is implemented all over the State. When more than 14 lakhs of students are waiting for fees reimbursement and scholarships to be released, the government did not allot even a rupee in the 2017-18 budget,” he criticised.
The CM is suppressing the youth of present generation and is not allowing them to grow financially and politically, he pointed.
Every member of the Youth Congress Committee must become a TV and a Newspaper to bring awareness among the people about the anti-peoples policies adopted by both State and Central governments in the State and in the Country, he appealed.
State secretaries of the Youth Congress Committee Ramishetti Manohar Naidu and Masanapalli Linagaji, District Youth Congress Committee members Rparthi Sharath Kumar, Pradeep Shah, K Kranthi Kumar, B Bala Gangadhar, Battula Veeraiah, Bukya Shiva Kumar, Bellamkonda Sharath Kumar and Afzal Pasha were also present along with others.
