Over 24,400 students taking SSC exams

The tenth class SSC examinations commenced on a peaceful note in al the 132 test centres in the district on Friday. The examination was held between 9.30 AM and 12.15 noon with students in large numbers appearing at eight test centres in the city.
Nizamabad: The tenth class SSC examinations commenced on a peaceful note in al the 132 test centres in the district on Friday. The examination was held between 9.30 AM and 12.15 noon with students in large numbers appearing at eight test centres in the city.
The candidates were given a grace period of five minutes for reaching the centre. There were a total of 24, 461 regular candidates.
CCTVs were installed at various centres to prevent malpractices by the students and squads were doing rounds to prevent mass copying.
Section 144 was imposed at the test centres and all the photocopying Xerox shops nearby were closed down.
