Banana plants fell, while bitter gourd plantation was damaged as the poles of the creepers fell off. Maize crop was destroyed, where as corn cobs, which were placed for drying, got wet.
Farmers, who are worried over the huge loss, expressed anguish over no government official or people’s representative coming to their rescue. They demanded the government act immediately and provide compensation.
