Compensation given to Gulf victims kin
District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar handed over the compensation cheques to the kin of the persons, who died working in foreign countries, at the Collectorate here on Monday.
Sircilla: District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar handed over the compensation cheques to the kin of the persons, who died working in foreign countries, at the Collectorate here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said the government has been working for the welfare of the people and till date it had distributed cheques amounting to Rs 42.86 lakhs to the family members of 10 persons, who died working abroad, after Sircilla Rajanna district formation.
The beneficiaries include Daripalli Lakshmi, wife of D Rajam of Mustabad mandal; Pokkili Muttava, wife of P Shankar of Bandapalli village of Chandurthi mandal; and Goli Linga Reddy, father of G Ramulu of Chandurthi mandal.
Joint Collector Yasmine Basha, District Revenue Officer Shyam Prasad Lal, Rural Development Officer Panduranga and Superintendent Ramaswamy were also present along with others.
