Kolanpaka: A woman belonging to Scheduled Caste, Bonkuri Pooja (21), demanding justice staged a dharna in front the house her lover Rakesh Reddy (29) at Kolanpaka of Aler mandal on Monday.
Speaking to media, Pooja said she and Rakesh Reddy were in love for the last three years and Rakesh denied her when she proposed marriage to him.
Aler SI Narsimhulu informed that when police contacted her and suggested to give complaint to take action against him, she rejected and urged police to perform her marriage with Rakesh Reddy.
