Implement Sudhir panel recommendations, Kodandaram asks govt
TJAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram demanded the government to implement the recommendations of Sudhir committee to develop Muslim minorities in all aspects. On Monday, Kodandaram participated in Sudhir Committee Report awareness meeting held at Bhongir.

Speaking on the occasion, the TJAC chief suggested the government to protect Wakf lands and fill all vacancies in order to strengthen the Urdu medium schools in the state.
He demanded government to fulfil the poll promise of 12 per cent reservation to Muslim minorities for helping them get education and employment opportunities.
Stating that majority of Muslims were daily workers, Kodandaram underlined the need of implementing Sudhir Committee recommendations. He also demanded government to strengthen the Minority finance commission for the welfare of poor Muslims.
