On Monday, the SP conducted a training programme to police officials on Juvenile Justice Act at DPO Meeting Hall. Speaking on the occasion, Parimala said social media was ruling the society and majority of children and students were addicted to it.
Parents must observe the sites the children visiting during net browsing before they cross the limits of discipline. She advised cops to conduct meetings at schools and colleges to create awareness among the students on ill-effects of crimes and consequences and also on laws. DSP Sumitha Mohan, UNICEF senior manager David, JJB board member Rajireddy, Chandrashekar of Mahitha NGO, CI Praveen Kumar and others participated.
