The police here on Monday arrested three Maoist sympathisers and recovered explosives from their possession. Speaking to media, Deputy Superintendent of Police B Ashok said on a tip-off, Circle Inspector Mogili and Sub-Inspector S Narahari along with staff arrested the trio, while they were crossing Godavari river towards Charla forest region at Shiva temple. 

Manuguru (Kothagudem): The police here on Monday arrested three Maoist sympathisers and recovered explosives from their possession. Speaking to media, Deputy Superintendent of Police B Ashok said on a tip-off, Circle Inspector Mogili and Sub-Inspector S Narahari along with staff arrested the trio, while they were crossing Godavari river towards Charla forest region at Shiva temple.

Accused were identified as Mohan of Mahbubabad, Gunji Vikram and Sode Deva from Chhattisgarh.It is learnt that the arrested persons took Rs 80,000 from the Maoists to bring explosives from Yampuram market in Chhattisgarh, the police said.
