Congress demands clearing of fee reimbursement dues

​Warangal: The leaders of Congress and Youth Congress have demanded the TRS government to immediately release the pending dues of fee reimbursement.

The party MLA D Madhava Reddy, former mayor Errabelli Swarna, former chief whip G V Ramana Reddy, Youth Congress national general secretary Srinivas BV, state president Anil Kumar Yadav and others have addressed a meeting of the party workers here on Wednesday.

The meeting titled ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ was organsied under the aegis of Youth Congress Warangal parliamentary constituency in-charge G Ramakanth Reddy marking former premier late Indira Gandhi’s birth centenary.

Addressing the gathering the leaders alleged that the TRS party which came to power with the sacrifices made by the students has been neglecting them after assuming power.

Hundreds of crores of dues of fee reimbursement were mounting yet the government failed to clear them.

Similarly, the government has also failed to clear the bills related to Indiramma housing scheme.

The TRS which failed to deliver its election promises would be taught a fitting lesson by the public in the state in the days to come, they warned.

The party leaders E Venkatram Reddy, Youth Congress leaders Srikanth Reddy, Devender Rao and others were present.
