Conserve every drop of water: Peddapalli JC
District Joint Collector S Prabhakar Reddy on Wednesday suggested that people use every drop of water to conserve it for future generations.
Peddapalli: District Joint Collector S Prabhakar Reddy on Wednesday suggested that people use every drop of water to conserve it for future generations.
The Joint Collector made the students take a pledge of conserving water on the occasion of World Water Day here at Yellamma Cheruvu in Peddapalli on Wednesday.
Speaking at the occasion, the District Joint Collector said that everyone must feel as it is their responsibility to conserve water which will make them use it judicially without wasting a single drop of water.
The parents and teachers must educate children and teach them about the essentiality of water and consequences the human kind may face due to lack of water in the future, he said. “This earth belongs to us and it is our duty to protect it,” he pointed.
DCP Vijayendar Reddy, City Municipal Commissioner Sathyanarayana, MPP Sudhanavena Sunitha and the officials of water supply department were also present along with the students of local schools.
