Suryapet Collector suggests use of organic products
Stating that the organic products were good for health, District Collector Surendra Mohan launched an organic agriculture products counter on Collectorate premises on Monday.
Suryapet: Stating that the organic products were good for health, District Collector Surendra Mohan launched an organic agriculture products counter on Collectorate premises on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said practicing agriculture with organic manure was an age-old concept and it was highly recommendable in the present pesticide residue food products.
To promote organic farming in the district, counter was opened in the Collectorate and it would be available on every Monday (Grievance Day) for the convenience of the people, staff and for the benefit of farmers.
District agriculture officer Jyothirmai explained the benefits of consuming organic products in day-to-day life and advised farmers of the district to go for organic farming for better yields.
Joint Collector Sanjiva Reddy, DRO Yadi Reddy, RDO Mohan Rao, DMHO Dr Muralimohan, CPO Subba Rao and other officials participated and purchased organic products to encourage the framers.
