In a gruesome road accident that took place on the outskirts of Kandigadda Thanda under Aler police station limits on Wednesday midnight, two persons were killed instantaneously after the bike they were travelling on was hit by a four-wheeler.

The deceased were identified as Boyina Pentaiah (24) and Md Ghouse (21) of Janagaon district. According to sources, the duo works at a petrol filling station in Jangoan and was returning from Aler when the tragedy struck.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their kin after post-mortem examination at Aler government hospital, Aler SI Narasimhulu informed. Police registered a case and further probe is on.
