Officials told to celebrate birth anniversaries on a grand note: Sircilla Collector
District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar directed the officials to make arrangements for celebrating the birth anniversaries of Dr B R Ambedkar and Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram on a grand note in the newly formed Rajanna Sircilla district.

Sircilla: District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar directed the officials to make arrangements for celebrating the birth anniversaries of Dr B R Ambedkar and Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram on a grand note in the newly formed Rajanna Sircilla district.
He chaired a meeting with officials and representatives of various Schedule Caste associations to discuss about the arrangements be made for celebrating the birth anniversary of Jagjivan Ram on April 4 and Ambedkar on April 14, at Podupu Bhavan here on Friday.
Recollecting the birth anniversary celebrations of Jyothi Rao Phule, which also falls in April, the Collector said that April is special with three birth anniversaries falling in the same month.
He advised the representatives of various Schedule Castes associations to elect committee members unanimously for the smooth conduct of the celebrations, for the first time in the district.
District revenue officer Shyam Lal Prasad, rural development officer Panduranga and district SC development officer E Rajeshwari were also present along with others.
