He said they received five calls during ‘Dial Your Collector’ programme. Kamalakar Reddy from Gambhiraopet mandal complained that the cc road laying works in the villages are going at snail’s pace due to which the villagers were facing problems.
He urged the officials to complete the roads construction as early as possible. Another caller, Raju urged the officials to issue EMD to him from Panchayat Raj department.
The Collector ordered the officials to take immediate actions on Thimmapur village sarpanch Rama for taking both honorarium and beedi pension on receiving complaint.
Chiranjeevi from Ramnnapet village of Konaraopet mandal urged the officials to add his name in online pahani and Naveen of 21st division of Sircilla town complained that sanitary workers were not cleaning drainage canals since several days causing inconvenience to the people of that area.
Later the Collector participated in the Grievance Day programme at the Collectorate. Of the total 1,658 grievances received, he solved 1,202 immediately.
The Collector suggested the officials to inform the applicants immediately if their grievances cannot be redressed.
Joint Collector Yasmine Basha, District Revenue Officer Shyam Prasad Lal and Rural Development Officer Panduranga were also present along with other officials of various departments.
