Warangal: In view of Sri Rama Navami festival to be celebrated on April 5, the TSRTC Warangal region is operating special bus services to Vemulawada and Bhadrachalam from April 4 to 7.

In a statement here on Monday, the RTC Regional Manager, T Surya Kiran, informed that the corporation has planned to operate 260 special services to both the towns from different locations in Warangal district.

The RTC will operate 50 buses from Narsampet, 20 buses from Parkal and 10 buses each from Jangaon, Thorrur and Mahabubabad towns to Vemulawada while 100 buses will be operated from Hanamkonda bus station to Vemulawada.

Similarly, 30 buses from Hanamkonda and five buses each from Parkal, Bhupalpalli, Thorrur, Jangaon, Narsampet and Mahabubabad will be operated to Bhadrachalam for the convenience of the devotees, Surya Kiran said.

Action against unauthorised advertisements on buses

Referring to unauthorised placing of advertisement stickers by private educational institutions, recruitment agencies and others on the buses owned by RTC and at RTC bus stations, the Regional Manager cautioned that serious action will be initiated against those resorting to such acts.

He said legal action will be taken against those placing their ads on the buses and bus station premises, besides collecting the charges occurring in removing them.
