MIJARC to hold mega international event
Kummari Krishnakar, the president of MIJARC World, an international non-governmental organisation (INGO) said that an international preparatory meeting will be organised in Rome from April 5 to 9 for organising a ‘mega international event’ next year with the theme ‘Building Peace in the World’ with around 10 lakhs of youngsters.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Krishnakar said that thousands of volunteers of MIJARC across the world would participate in the international preparatory meeting to discuss on the necessary steps to be taken for conducting the ‘mega international event’.
MIJARC World is an INGO organisation founded in 1954 with Belgium as its headquarters and has been active in 60 countries with around more than three lakh youngsters working as volunteers, he informed.
MIJARC contributes and promotes the development of agriculture sector in association with Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of United Nations along with giving training to the rural youth in professional and technical skills all the over the world and is also working for women empowerment and sustainable development along with focusing on various important issues for building better society,” he said.
MIJARC participated in more than 40 national movements across the four continental platforms in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America till date, he added.
