Resolve civic issues, BJMM tells govt
BJP’s BJMM city Mahila Morcha president Podila Shobha undertook a tour of various divisions in the city on Monday to acquaint herself with the problems facing the people.

In Vengalrao nagar, people were facing civic problems like power outages, water scarcity and incomplete drainage construction works.
The residents of the locality told her that the civic authorities were being indifferent to them though they brought their problems to their notice.
They wondered as to what happened to the Rs 100 crore worth funds released by the Minister for Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao for the development of cities. Even the corporator of the Vengalrao nagar municipal ward remained indifferent to their plight, they lamented.
The Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha demanded the State government to resolve their problems.
BJMM members Chandrakala, Swaroopa, Jayalakshmi, Anasuya and others were present.
