Nizamabad: The retail vegetable traders association held a dharna in the city on Monday in protest against the attitude of the commission agents. They also raised slogans against the commission agents.
Speaking to the media, a retail vegetable trader said that the commission agents deliberately deprived vegetable to the vegetable vendors, they alleged and added that the market department officials also remained indifferent though they brought this issue to their notice several times.
Around 150 families would be thrown on the streets if they were deprived of vegetables, he lamented. He threatened that they would be forced to launch a massive agitation if the government remains indifferent.
