Hanamkonda: TRS district president T Ravinder Rao accused the Warangal DCC Bank Chairman, J Raghava Reddy, of committing large scale misappropriation.

Speaking to media in Hanamkonda on Monday, the TRS leader released a list of 24 charges of corruption along with a list of 20 criminal cases and their status in which, the bank chairman was involved. He claimed that cases such as murder were booked against Raghava Reddy, besides a rowdy sheet.

Ravinder alleged that being the bank chairman Raghava Reddy has exploited the bank for his personal needs and obtained crores of rupees of loans in illegal manner on his name and family members’ names.

When the serving and retired employees approached seeking to address their issues, they were told to approach the bank chairman. But Raghava Reddy has been troubling both them and demanding percentages in implementing the PRC and releasing gratuity amounts .

The retired employees though were eligible for receiving PRC dues since 2012 they were not paid so far and they were forced to pay 50 per cent in cash as bribe to get the dues, the TRS leader complained.

Referring to the complaints made by Raghava Reddy that he was being targeted politically and was being compelled to join the TRS, Ravinder Rao said the doors were closed in TRS for persons like Raghava Reddy. There was no need for the party to make him join.

Hitting at the Congress leader G Venkata Ramana Reddy, who accused the TRS of failing to address farmers’ issues and targeting opposition leaders, the TRS leader said, the party need not learn lessons from Ramana Reddy, who was involved in illegal sand mining during Congress regime. KUDA Chairman M Yadava Reddy and others were present.
