Fight against social inequality: Thammineni
Everyone must work to fulfill the dreams of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule, Dr B R Ambedkar and Karl Marx and must fight against the social inequality that still exists in the society, appealed state secretary of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) Thammineni Veerabhadram.

CPM district unit had organsied a seminar on ‘Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule - Samakalinatha’ under the leadership of district secretary Ponnam Venkateshwar Rao at Manchikanti Bhavan in Khammam on Wednesday.
Veerabhadram, the chief guest at the meeting, said that Jyotiba Phule fought against social evils and inequality among the people, which are pertaining in the country 150 years ago.
Karl Marx fought against economical inequality while Phule and Ambedkar fought against religious and caste inequality. Unlike any other country in the world, the Indians were bifurcated in the name of castes and religions. It is sad to know that punishments were given to the people on the basis of castes and religion since several centuries, he pointed.
‘It is sad to know that some of the politicians are behaving like dictators and doing politics on the food we eat, cloth we wear and house we live in and some others are encouraging communalism in the country in the name of Gorakshak (Savers of cow),’ he lamented.
To bring socialism in the country the Lal and Neel powers must unite together and must fight against communalism along with following the ideology of the Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule, Dr B R Ambedkar and Karl Marx along with creating awareness among the people about the social inequality.
CPM party state executive member Pothineni Sudharshan Rao, Ambedkar-Marks Adhyayana Vedika president B V Raghavulu, party state committee member Nunna Nageshwar Rao, district leaders M Subba Rao, Buggaveeti Sarala, Battula Lenin, Yerra Srikanth, Afroz Sameena and BC sub-plan district secretary Merugu Sathyanarayana were also present along with others.
