Four of inter-state ATM fraudsters gang arrested
Nakrekal and Nalgonda police arrested an inter-state ATMs manipulation gang on Tuesday and recovered Rs 2.30 lakh cash, a Creta car, nine ATM cards and two cellphones from them.

DSP Sudhakar produced all the four members of gang Irshad, Mohammed Asim, Parvez Alam and Muzzaffar of Haryana state before the media at a press meet held at his office in Nalgonda. He described the modus operandi and crime history of offenders.
According to DSP, all the four offenders form a group and behave like helping innocent villagers during withdrawal of money at ATMs centres. They cleverly manipulte the ATM cards with their handiwork.
Later, using customers ATM card and pin number they withdraw the money from accounts. One of the victims of the gang, Naragani Krishna Murthy of Itukalapadu of Shaligowraram mandal, who lost Rs 40,000 from his account, lodged a complaint with Nakrekal police on March 14.
During the course of investigation, police identified the frequent movement of Creta car bearing number HR-27F-1314 to Nakerakal town and also at Inpamula toll plaza . During the vehicle checking in Nakrekal, town police caught the car and arrested the gang members. During interrogation, they confessed to their crimes.
