Contractors told to speed up Mission Bhagiratha works in Suryapet
Assuring the contractors about bill payments, the District Collector Surendra Mohan directed them to appoint more workers to speed up the works of Mission Bhagiratha in the district.

On Wednesday, he held a special meeting with contractors of Mission Bhagiratha and RWS officials at the Collectorate here.
To keep the government’s promise of supplying safe drinking water to every household in the district under the government’s flagship programme Mission Bhagiratha, the contractors must speed up the works of pipe lines, head works, mechanical engineering, OHSR tanks and intra village pipelines by engaging more labor at all spots, the Collector suggested.
He assured the contractors that he will take initiation to talk with the government to pay the bills of the completed works.
He appreciated the commitment and dedication of the contractors on the occasion. Mission Bhagiratha district EE Mohan Reddy, DEs and contractors participated in the meeting.
