TJAC chairman Kodandaram expressed solidarity to CPI fight for regularisation of land paatas

Kothagudem: Telangana Joint Action Committee Chairman Kodandaram on Wednesday visited the CPI Ranabheri protest camp at the bus station here and expressed TJAC solidarity with the cause of the CPI.

The CPI has been agitating for issue of regularisation of land pattas and giving possession of lands allotted.

Addressing a meeting, chaired by CPI district committee secretary SK Basha, the TJAC leader appreciated the CPI’s agitation programme and found fault with the district administration for not taking steps to issue pattas to the deserving in spite of the state government issuing a GO to this
effect.

It is not proper on the part of the administration to deny land pattas to 70 per cent of the beneficiaries, he said. He underlined the need for issuing house site pattas to families in Kothagudem in the newly formed Bhadradri-Kothagudem district.

He said that it is not proper on the part of the district administration to test the patience of people, who have been eagerly awaiting the pattas for over two decades.

He said the TJAC would include the issue in its special agenda and strive for a solution to the problem through direct action.

CPI district leader Veera Hanumantha Rao, Y Srinivasa Reddy, M Venkateswarlu, Satyanarayana, Joseph, Chanti and Shyam took part.
