Khammam: As many as 12 students of Bomma Engineering College secured jobs during the campus placement drive that was held here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Bomma Institutions Chairman B Rajeshwar Rao congratulated the students who secured jobs and advised other students to develop more skills to secure employment.

Vice-chairman B Satyaprasad said communication skills play a vital role in getting job and asked the students to improve on that front.

The campus drive, which was held by Polaris Global Technologies Private Limited, saw nearly 130 students appearing for written test followed by group discussion and interviews. Of the 130, 12 students were shortlisted for jobs and appointment letters were given to the selected candidates.

College Secretary U Srinivas, Principal Dr Rajaiah, HR representatives, heads of various departments and professors congratulated the students.
