Furthering IIIT-H Foundation’s reach in backing startups, the foundation is inviting applications from deeptech startups for its six-month Seeding@Launchpad incubator programme.

Hyderabad: Furthering IIIT-H Foundation’s reach in backing startups, the foundation is inviting applications from deeptech startups for its six-month Seeding@Launchpad incubator programme.

Under this flagship, early stage tech startups will gain access to a host of services, facilities and guidance from the institute on machine learning, imaging, NLP, robotics, artificial intelligence, data science and deep algorithms.

Startups will get to work on location at IIIT-Hyderabad campus with dedicated plug and play desks and collaborate with the institute’s research centres on the incubation of their next big idea to develop cutting edge solutions.

Seeding@Launchpad will also provide access to various service providers as well as Cloud Credits from Amazon, Google and Microsoft. IIIT-H Foundation’s faculty, research scholars, institutional partners and domain experts will offer their guidance and domain expertise to deeptech startups over 6 months.

Seeding@Launchpad will regularly organise dedicated design and tech mentoring workshops on business and deeptech for the startups incubated with them. Those startups who impress CIE@IIIT-H and its research faculty sufficiently enough will also gain access to the institute’s labs to rev up further testing of their concepts.

Depending on the developmental stage as well as how impressed the panel is by a startup’s idea and tech chutzpah, seed funding could range anywhere between 5 to 10 lakhs. IIITH-Foundation will also have equity on the seed support. The startups that successfully make the cut at Seeding@Launchpad will get a chance to pitch to IIIT-Hyderabad’s seed fund for up to 25 lakhs.
