​Bhadradri-Kothagudem: Local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao on Thursday performed Bhoomi Pooja for roads at Ashok Nagar, Lothuvagu, Prasanth Nagar and Regalla in Laxmidevipalli mandal.
He asked people of Ashok Nagar Colony to extend their support in maintaining cleanliness. He directed the officials concerned to take up Rs 3.30 crore-highway works with utmost care.
The MLA spoke to officials regarding water scarcity too. “Steps are being taken to provide skill development programmes for unemployed youth,” he added. Jalagam assured two-bedroom houses for eligible beneficiaries.
