Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao have appealed the people in the State to put off their journeys on April 27 in view of the TRS public meeting scheduled to be held in Warangal.

They said large number of TSRTC buses and private vehicles would he hired to transport party workers and public intending to attend the meeting on the day. It might cause some inconvenience to common public, hence they should consider either to pre-pone and post-pone their travel.
Both the Deputy CM and the Irrigation Minister along with local TRS leaders visited the meeting spot, Prakashreddypet on the outskirts of Hanamkonda on Tuesday and reviewed the arrangements. They inspected the works of installation of dais and others at the spot, going around the sprawling grounds.
Speaking to presspersons on the occasion, Harish Rao said the works were being executed in such a manner, that they would be completed by April 23, which could allow sometime to recheck for any lapses and to take up correctional measures.
In view of the enormous area of the grounds, about 60 LCD screens would be installed on the grounds, besides 40 LCD screens at public places in Hanamkonda city on the day to enable people to watch and listen to the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao addressing the meeting.
About 20 cut outs of the CM with 60 feet height would be erected across the city in addition to nearly 40 cut outs of 40 feet size. A total of 270 acres of land was earmarked for meeting while 1,200 acres land was allocated for parking of vehicles.
Harish Rao urged those attending the meeting to arrive at the venue by 5 pm to avoid traffic jams. As it was the first biggest meeting after the TRS came to power in Telangana State, the turnout of the crowd would be more than expected.
The temperatures were touching 44 to 45 degree Celsius. In view of which arrangements would be made to supply drinking water and butter milk to the public. Water, toilets, medical aid, flood lights would be in place at nine parking lots.
The Minister said they would stay at the meeting spot even after the meeting to see that everyone reaches back home safely. Since Warangal has been hosting the meeting, it was planned to mobilise people in large numbers from the district.
