Teachers’ want the government to meet their demands

Khammam: Telangana Progressive Teachers Federation (TPTF) demanded the government to solve problems of teachers.

Speaking at a district general body meeting of TPTF, held under the leadership of T Bhaskar, in Khammam on Wednesday, district general secretary of TPTF V Manohar Raju said even after making several appeals, the government was behaving negligently towards solving the teachers’ problems.

“Without promoting the supervising officials of education department and sorting out the Service Rules problems, the government is trying to dissolve the government education sector,” he criticised. He demanded the government to give promotions to eligible officials along with sorting out Service Rules problems.

Raju further called upon the teachers of government schools to participate in large numbers in the dharna by Upadhyaya Sanghala Porata Committee to be held on April 20, in protest against the negligent attitude of the government in solving the issues of teachers. Several TPTF representatives attended the meeting.
