Officials told to complete city beautification works by June 1
District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar directed the officials of Municipal and other departments concerned to complete the beautification works of the city by June 1.

Addressing the officials at a review meeting to discuss various developmental works that were taking place in the district, the Collector ordered the officials to demolish the compound walls of government offices that were obstructing the road-widening works. He also ordered to displace electric poles and telephone cables that were causing hindrance in the works.
Directing the officials to prepare day-wise reports on various works, the Collector asked the officials to hand over the list of proposals and permissions received by various government departments for the development of junctions at main centres.
“Immediately start pipeline works under Mission Bhagiratha once the road works are wrapped up,” suggested the Collector, asking the officials of Municipal department to work in tandem with officials of other departments and finish the road works and installation of median lights by June 1.
City Municipal Commissioner B Suman Rao, Special Officer Sridhar, Executive Engineer of Panchayat Raj M Bhadraiah, Executive Engineer of R&B department Vigneshwar Reddy, Assistant Engineer of BSNL Johnson and others attended the review meeting.
