Warangal: Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu has directed the police personnel to deliver duties with high alertness on April 27, on which the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, would address a massive public meeting here.

The Commissioner, along with senior officials, on Monday visited the Prakashreddypet in Hanamkonda, where the public meeting would take place. He inspected the construction works of dais, barricading at 'D' zone and all over the meeting spot.

He inspected route which the CM and the other VIPs would take to arrive at the meeting venue. He suggested that additional number of personnel should be deployed along the route to ensure their smooth passage and no others should be allowed on the route through which the CM’s convoy passes.

The Commissioner told the officials obtain quality certificate over the strength and safety of the dais from the R&B department after completion of dais works. Special care must be taken in setting up barricades with high strength near 'D' zone.

He wanted the police officials and personnel on bando-bust duty to work in coordination with the TRS workers for the smooth conduct of the event. Supply of drinking water at each sector should be provided for the personnel.

The police personnel should stay back at their allotted sector and parking lot to see that vehicles and public leaves the venue in an orderly and smooth manner.

No scope should be given to traffic congestion on the roads, he explained. DCPs, ES Venugopal Rao, T Venkanna and Md Ismail, ACPs B Janardhan, S Shoban Kumar, E Pooja, Muralidhar, Vidyasagar and others were present.
