Aler: Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao informed that Mahbubnagar farmers attending the Warangal public meet in 2,000 tractors would make a Guinness world record, breaking the similar feat by Canada where people used 1,400 tractors to attend a public meeting.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Minister along with farmers in 200 tractors arrived in Aler and halted for an hour. Speaking to the media, he said he along with farmers and party supporters have started on Tuesday afternoon from Kollapur to attend the party public meeting on Thursday.

Expressing their happiness over government's fertiliser bounty, farmers of Mahbubnagar have voluntarily mobilised 2,000 tractors to Warangal meeting to extend their support to TRS, he said.

“This huge rally of 2,000 tractors of Palamur farmers is going to set world record,” he added. Meanwhile, on the eve of TRS public meeting, Yadadri district police made elaborate security arrangements in the district limits on Hyderabad- Warangal highway to avoid traffic jams and untoward incidents.
