Madugulapalli: In a tragic incident, a 14-month-old boy died after sustaining grievous head injuries after he was run over by wheel of lumbar attached to a tractor.
The incident took place at Kukkadam village of Madgulapalli mandal on Friday. The deceased was identified as Rekha Harshith.
According to SI Suresh, the kid started playing at the rear wheel of lumber (an agriculture equipment) attached to the tractor. Without noticing the kid, the driver started the vehicle injuring the kid.
He died on the way to a private hospital in Miryalaguda. Police shifted the deceased kid to government hospital for post-mortem. Police registered a case and further investigation is on.
