Cops asked to keep abreast of emerging technologies
Hyderabad West Zone IGP Stephen Raveendra stated that every police must keep abreast of new technologies that help in cracking the cases.

On Monday, he visited Suryapet District Police Office and examined the functioning of police. Speaking on the occasion, he said behaviour of police have to elevate the prestige of the department in the society.
He advised Station Officers to follow the rules while filing the cases and superior officers to watch the functioning of subordinates for smooth maintenance of law and order in the district.
Mentioning CCTVs importance, he advised officials to create awareness among people on establishment of CCTV cameras at their houses and business establishments.
On the occasion, SP Parimala explained various measures and programmes taken by the district police under friendly policing.
As part of his tour, Raveendra along with Nalgonda District SP Prakash Reddy inaugurated the newly-selected constables training programme at district training centre in Nalgonda.
