Karimnagar: Varadhi Society is giving free coaching classes to as many as 280 candidates qualified for preliminary TGT and PGT Gurukul Teachers examination.
District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed inaugurated the coaching classes at the Collectorate auditorium in Karimnagar on Monday. Telangana State Public Service Commissioner (TSPSC) will conduct the examination to fill up teacher vacancies to work in social welfare, minority and tribal residential schools.
Subject experts will conduct the classes from 9 am to 6 pm till May 29, even in holidays. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that he will be happy if more candidates are selected for teacher posts from the district and advised the candidates, appearing for Gurukul teachers’ examination, to concentrate more on studies to grab the teacher posts since there is less time and more to study.
Varadhi Society Secretary Anjaneyulu said that the Collector took initiation for conducting free coaching classes so that more number of candidates would get selected for the posts and hoped that the candidates will keep up the expectations of the Collector by concentrating more on studies.
