Park Hyatt, Hyderabad recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. As a part of it, a play ‘Two to Tango Three to Jive’, staged recently by AGP World. Directed by Saurabh Shukla, the play ‘Two to Tango Three to Jive’ is about a man’s (Parminder Sethi) quest for an extramarital affair.

The play revolves around Parminder Sethi, a Delhi hotelier, who is always looking for extra fun in his life. His mother usually goes outside every Saturday for social work and he uses his mother’s house for his extramarital affair in that time. He meets three women, Sonali, Rinky, and Savita. The three women teach him an importance lesson, opening his eyes to the many truths of life.

Director of the play, Saurabh Shukla also acted as Parminder Sethi and delivered an outstanding performance of impeccable timing and humour. The three actresses in the play include Achinth Kaur, Sadiya Siddiqui and Preeti Mamgain did their best. Achinth Kaur did a married woman role with ease and her character shows how she is seeking happiness outside her miserable marriage.

The other two actresses Sadiya Siddiqui and Preeti Mamgain were mesmerised the audience with their perfect timing. The play starts with lots of humour and ends with emotions of Parminder Sethi, who realises the mistake of what he is trying to do. The play is good overall but the length (135 minutes) is only the factor that troubles audience a little bit.
