Science fair held
In all, 100 models of exhibits in science and mathematics were put on display on Monday at the science fair held at the Atomic Energy Central School in the Heavy Water Plant campus.
Aswapuram: In all, 100 models of exhibits in science and mathematics were put on display on Monday at the science fair held at the Atomic Energy Central School in the Heavy Water Plant campus.
Students of eighth, ninth and tenth classes exhibited their models. Deputy General Manager of the heavy water plant Arun Bose inaugurated the science fair. The models pertain to wind energy, solar energy, environmental protection and other such items.
The DGM said science fairs would go a long way to bring out the latent talent among the students. Tracing the role of science and technology in the development of the country, he explained the significance of nuclear power and called upon students to improve their understanding about it.
School principal Venkanna and teachers of the school participated.
