City Chess player and student of Shubhodaya Public School, JTV Sai Mohan got Chess Fide rating rating in First Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament which was held at Hyderabad recently. He scored 5.5 points and got 1106 Elo Rating points.

The budding Chess player Sai Mohan is studying class 10 in outskirt of the city. He won the final round game against Inter National Rated player and secured 5.5 points and bagged Fide rating.
In this connection Shubhodaya public school principal G Roja Ramani and Chess coach NM Phani Kumar praised the Fide rating Chess player Mohan here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion school principal Roja Ramani said that her student Sai Mohan is very interested in Chess. He got himself several medals in different Chess competitions, she said.
The school management bared his total expenses, she added. School Principal Roja Ramani further felt happy for the Fide rating.
