Prepare new master plan to develop Jagtial city: Collector
District Collector Dr A Sharath directed the officials to prepare new master plan keeping in view of the enormous development that is taking place in the district headquarters.
Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath directed the officials to prepare new master plan keeping in view of the enormous development that is taking place in the district headquarters.
He chaired a review meeting with the officials of municipal department to discuss the steps to be taken for the development of district headquarters, at his chamber in the Collectorate here on Thursday.
The Collector ordered the officials to widen the roads in the city to 100 feet as they were very narrow with only 60 feet width.
‘Keeping the future needs in mind, prepare a new master plan design of Jagtial city with the coordination of officials of concerned departments, as the city is developing enormously in the recent times. Also take necessary steps for merging the surrounding villages in the municipality,’ the Collector told them.
Director of City Planning department Anand Babu, Additional Director Narasimha Chary, Assistant Director A Kodandaram Reddy, Municipal Chairperson T Vijay Lakshmi, Municipal Commissioner Maruthi Prasad and the Town Planning Officer Karunakar were also present in the meeting.
