Regularise contract workers: CITU
Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) national leader R Sudha Bhaskar has demanded the State government regularise the services of all contract workers working in various departments.
Khammam: Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) national leader R Sudha Bhaskar has demanded the State government regularise the services of all contract workers working in various departments.
Speaking at a general body meeting of Telangana State Electricity Employees Union (TSEEU) held here at CITU Office in Khammam on Thursday, R Sudha Bhaskar said by uniting workers of all unions, a protest would be launched for solving the problems of employees of Electricity department.
He demanded the State government to regularise the services of all contract staff immediately as per the promise made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during the elections.
Later, he released a poster of National Conference of EFFI to be held on 18, 19 and 20th of August along with the State Secretary of the CITU Kiran, CH Mukunda Reddy, K Nageshwar Rao and M Prasad. Representatives of TSEEU were also present.
