Villagers told to construct water harvesting pits: Jupalli Krishna Rao
Panchayat Raj Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao on Thursday inspected MGNREGA works at Budha Kalan in Bellampalli mandal. While interacting with the villagers, he suggested them to construct water harvesting pits on their own. Informing that the State government has allocated Rs 20 crore for laying CC roads, he asked the villagers to cooperate with village committee in developing their village.Â

While interacting with the villagers, he suggested them to construct water harvesting pits on their own. Informing that the State government has allocated Rs 20 crore for laying CC roads, he asked the villagers to cooperate with village committee in developing their village.
He stressed the need of individual lavatory and directed the officials concerned to complete the MGNREGA works within the stipulated time.
Earlier, Minister Krishna Rao laid foundation stone for the construction of dumping yard and burial ground in the village.
MLC Sathish Puranam, local MLA Durgam Chinnaiah, Panchayat Raj Commissioner Neethu Prasad, District Collector RV Karnan, AMC Chairman Narsingham, Municipal Chairman Sunitha Rani, sarpanch D Nagesh and party workers attended the programme.
